The LBM Quarry in Sapphire has more than 100 trucks in and out daily plus quarry equipment, employee parking, a Ready Mix Plant and Hot Mix Asphalt Plant on site. This posed a tremendous possibility for paint overspray damage since they planned to paint during normal business hours.
Highland 485 Dry-Fall 2-K Epoxy DTM is resilient, hard-working and made for hostile environments. Paint overspray is powder dry within 10-20 feet from point of application and enables quick Spray-Safe application without overspray damage. It may be applied over tightly bonded rust or mill scale and offers outstanding chemical, water, weathering and corrosion protection. In conditions such as this quarry 4-6 mils DFT will provide excellent corrosion protection. In severe chemical or atmospheric conditions, it may be applied up to 6-10 mils DFT for added corrosion protection.
